Thoroughly enjoyed today at the Sarasota Film Festival. Saw a really great documentary by the Swedish film maker Fredrick Gertten called “Big Boys Gone Bananas!” It focuses on freedom of speech and how big companies are able to manipulate our constitution. I would highly recommend it!
I also saw the Swedish film. It will be interesting to compare these films to the American versions scheduled to be shot and released in the next few years.
So it’s been a bittersweet few days. I’m at somewhat of a loss because I finished the final book in Steig Larsson’s “Millennium Trilogy.” The final book was really the capstone for the series. Questions were answered and it ends on a good note.
