Really excited about the new film ‘Lincoln’. Steven Spielberg always is a quality director and John Williams music is brilliant. How can you not think this won’t be an Oscar winner.
I was thrilled last night that Meryl Streep won the Oscar for Best Actress. Although I haven’t seen the film “The Iron Lady,” Meryl is always good in virtually every film.
This is a small tribute to some of the great film music. I hope John Williams wins best score tonight for “War Horse.”
I saw “The Artist” yesterday and would have to say this was quite an accurate homage to the silent-film era. This will most likely win movie of the year and is one that hopefully the general public will give a chance. The music ultimately tells the story. A fun and entertaining film that most people will gain an appreciation to the films of the past. Furthermore, the dog arguably has the best part!
I just saw the film “Midnight in Paris.” I have now seen five of the top nine films for the Oscar’s Picture of the Year. Every aspect of the film was enjoyable from the music, to the historical references and of course the great sights of Paris. Woody Allen has created a work of art.
